Poetry, Drama & Criticism Books Review

Poetry, drama & criticism are all very complex subjects. When you think of these topics, you must also realize that there are different categories for these topics. These include drama, essays, journals, letters, general, history, criticism, literacy reference, and of course William Shakespeare. There are also sub-categories to each of these categories as well.

The category of drama has many different options. You can read about it by period, film, television and screenplays, genres, the history, radio scripts, theater studies and playwrights. Even these categories have sub divisions of their own as well. If you are studying the periods in drama, you could look at classical, early and medieval times, Elizabethan Jacobean from the 16th to 18th centuries, Victorian from the 19th century and of course the current 20th century.

Poetry has its own set of divisions as well. You could be interested in anthologies, by the period, genres, history, specific poets and even the world. Again, each one of these divisions has categories of their own such as genres. Here you will find epics, haiku, inspirational and religious, love, metaphysical, myths, Norse and Icelandic sagas, nursery rhymes, war and poetry for children. You can see that there are a lot of options under that category.

Books To Choose From
Of course you may be wondering what books there are to choose from in each of these categories. There are many that you can pick from in each category and sub category. If you are looking in the drama department, you could choose from books such as The Importance of Being Earnest, This Mitchell and Webb Book, Hamlet (Several different styles available), Othello (Several different choices), Waiting for Godot: A tragicomedy in Two Acts, Doctor Faustus (A Text) and of course the infamous A Streetcar Named Desire. These books are a general selection for you in this category. If you look under the period section, you will find books such as Twelfth Night: or, What You Will, As You Like It and King Lear.

If you are interested in Poetry, you will have a whole other selection to choose from. There are books such as The Odyssey, Romanticism: An Anthology, The World’s Wife, Winnie the Pooh: Complete Collection of Stories and Poems and The Faber Book of Beasts. If you are interested in the anthology of poetry, you will find books such as Here to Eternity: An Anthology of Poetry, Up the Line to Death: War Poets, The Norton Anthology of Poetry, The Rattle Bag, Scars Upon my Heart and Metaphysical Poetry. These are all great books for the younger generation to the older generation.

There are many books that have been turned into a silver screen winner. Of course, Hamlet is one of the most popular books of all time. William Shakespeare has many different books that students study in while in College to better understand the arts. His writing has been a great method of teaching for years. You cannot only learn poetry from him but the true art of drama as well.

Shakespeare has been studied and followed for generations and will continue on for generations to come. You can enjoy his sonnets and poetry as well as his plays and his biography. Everyone knows that Hamlet is infamous but so is his work for Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth. Students have been able to learn from him and if you are interested in the arts whether it is poetry or drama, you will be impressed and mesmerized by his work.

Each and every book that is listed here has something that it can teach you. They can also provide you with a history of the specific art that you are interested in whether it is poetry, drama or criticism. One way to be able to learn more about the books that you are reading is to join a discussion group. These groups give you the opportunity to be able to speak with others that are reading the same book that you are and get their opinion on it. Often, these groups talk once a month about the book that they are reading, while many times, there are group discussions that are held once a week about a specific book or even several.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to be able to speak with others about something that interests you and that you have in common with others. Being able to speak with people that are reading a book that you are gives you the opportunity to be able to ask questions about a chapter that you may have not understood or that you feel is controversial. If you are considering a specific book, you may be able to get input from others that have already read it which could help you to decide if it is a book that you are truly interested in and if it would benefit you in any way.

As you can see, being able to join in on a group discussion can not only be a lot of fun but also be beneficial in helping you to learn about other books as well. It also gives you the chance to make friends with other people that share something in common with you with having the same interest. You may even find that you are interested in reading about another facet of what you are currently interested in. Being able to ask questions of others can open your eyes to a whole new world when it comes to reading about poetry, drama and criticism. Music, Stage & Screen Books Review

When you think of music, the stage or even the silver screen, you may think of great music, beautiful dancers and singers as well as actors and actresses playing a once in a lifetime role. There are many different categories to each of these choices. These include film, music, performing arts, radio, television and of course general AAS. You will find a variety for each one of these as well.

  • What sub categories are there?
  • Are there comedy books available?
  • Can I learn from these books?

These are all great questions that should be asked if you are trying to decide what type of book to get. There are sub categories to each one of these as well. In the film category, you will find subs such as biographies, business issues, criticism, theory, encyclopedias, film, tv scripts, film genres, film studies, guides and reference, history of film, production, technology and video. If you are interested in reading about the lives of actors and actresses, you can find many books that are available.

Some examples of these books are The Time of My Life, Saturday Night Peter, Look Back in Hunger, New Moon: The Official Illustrated Movie Companion: The Complete Illustrated Movie, I Am What I Am and Me Cheeta: The Autobiography. Each one of these books can offer you something different. You will also find Dear Fatty and Twilight: The Complete Illustrated Movie Companion.

When you look at the music category, there are sub categories such as encyclopedias, styles, scores, songbooks, lyrics, composers & musicians, business, digital music, guides to music, history of music, instruments, learn to play, write and record music, reference, musical theory and composition. There are authors such as Patrick Swayze, Top Gear, Ant McPartlin, Joe Brand, Peter Hook, David Mitchell, Mark Phillips, Rafael Alvarez and of course the infamous William Shakespeare. All of these authors and many more are out there for you to read.

Are There Teaching Books?
With all of the books that you have to choose from, there are many books that can teach you how to progress in your learning. One example of this is the Guitar for Dummies. It is also the perfect opportunity to be able to ask questions about a book that you are interested in reading. Being able to get the opinion of someone that has already read the book can possibly help you decide if it is something that you would like to read before you go and purchase it.

Group discussions are a great way to make friends as well. It gives you the opportunity to be able to speak with others that you have something in common with. You can learn from each other about the books that you have read and learn about books that you have yet to read. A group discussion is the chance to have some quality time with other adults. This can become a wonderful thing if you have children and are looking for a way to have time speaking with other adults about something that interests you instead of worrying about lego’s and being a ride to the next dance.
